How do I reset a user's RSA SecurID PIN?
As an administrator, you can easily reset the PIN for another user’s RSA SecurID hard or soft token. Here’s how:
- In Online Banking for Business, select the Administration tab.
- Under “User Management”, choose Manage Users.
- Select the User ID of the relevant user.
- At the end of the “User Information” section, choose Manage SecurID.
- Select Reset PIN.
- Choose the token that you want to reset the RSA SecurID PIN for and select Apply.
Note: Check the token serial number to make sure you have the correct one. How to find token serial numbers
- Once you’re ready, select Save Changes.
- When prompted, confirm your identity with 2-step verification. What is 2-step verification?
You’ve successfully reset the user’s RSA SecurID PIN.
The next time the user needs to use their RSA SecurID token, they’ll be prompted to create a new RSA SecurID PIN.
