Why didn’t my Zelle recipient receive an email or SMS?

If your Zelle® recipient hasn’t received notification of your payment:

  1. Check the payment status. If the status is “pending”, your recipient may not have registered their email address or mobile number with Zelle. You can direct them to https://register.zellepay.com in order to register for Zelle and receive their payment.
  2. If they are registered with Zelle, please make sure that the email address or mobile number you used for the payment matches your recipient’s. If you’ve accidentally sent your payment to the wrong email or mobile number, please contact the Help Desk.
