Mac user? How to set up your BMO DepositEdge scanner on macOS
If you have administrator rights on a Windows computer, you can install and register your DepositEdge scanner. Here’s how:
Step 1: Installing WebScan
WebScan is the software used by DepositEdge to act as an interface for your scanner. Here’s how to install it:
Now that WebScan is installed on your computer, go to your system tray, located at the lower right-hand corner of your screen, and select the up arrow. Look for a blue circle with the letters “WS.” This icon shows that WebScan is running.
You’ll also notice that a WebScan icon has been added to your desktop. Please, keep this shortcut for easy access in the future.
Step 2: Installing the scanner software
Now that you’ve installed WebScan, you can install the drivers for your scanner. Here’s how:
