What is the Alerts service?
Stay informed and in control of your balances, transactions and user activity with instant email alerts.
Account Information alerts
You can receive these alerts by email or text message.
- Balances (free): Monitor your account balances with custom alerts. Select the accounts and balance changes you’re interested in.
- Transactions ($1/alert): Review your account transactions with custom alerts. Specify which accounts and transaction amounts you want to be notified about.
How to set up Account Information alerts
ACH alerts (U.S. only) ($1/alert)
You can receive these alerts by email and text message.
- Pending Payments: Get a reminder when ACH payments are waiting for your approval. Select which payments you want to receive alerts for.
- Pending Templates: Receive an alert when ACH templates are waiting for your approval. Specify which templates you want to be notified about.
How to create ACH alerts
Administration alerts (Free)
You can receive any of these free alerts by email and text message.
- PCA modifications: Receive an alert when someone makes changes to a Primary Customer Administrator (PCA) profile.
- Admin modifications: Get notified when someone creates or changes an Administrator profile.
- User modifications: Receive an alert when someone creates or changes a user profile.
- Admin or User Groups modifications: Receive an alert when someone creates or changes an Admin group or User group.
- Password reset: Get notified when a user resets their password.
- Fraud Prevention Contact modifications: Receive an alert when someone adds or removes fraud contacts.
- 2-step verification registration: Receive an alert when a user sets up 2-step verification.
- Pending approval: Get notified when users are waiting for your approval.
- Locked users: Receive an alert when users have been locked.
How to customize Administration Alerts
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) alerts (Canada only)
You can receive these alerts by email or text message.
- Payments File Uploaded ($1/alert): Get notified when your EFT payments files have been uploaded.
- Returned/Rejected Payment (free): Find out when your EFT payments have been returned or rejected.
- Payments Being Processed ($1/alert): Receive a notification when we’re processing your EFT payments files.
- Payments Processed ($1/alert): Get notified when we finished processing your EFT payments files.

File Transfer Facility (FTF) alerts (Free)
You can receive any of these free alerts by email and text message.
- Rejected Files (free): Get alerted if your uploaded files can't be processed.
- Received Files & Reports (free): Find out when new files and reports become available. Select which files or reports you’re interested in.
How to create FTF alerts
Wire Payment alerts ($1/alert)
You can receive these alerts by email and text message.
- Wire Payments Pending Approval ($1/alert) : Get a reminder when a wire payment is waiting for your approval. Simply pick which funding accounts you want to monitor.
- Outgoing Wire Payments ($1/alert): Track your outgoing wire payments. Decide which funding accounts you want to receive alerts for.
- Failed Wire Payments (Free): Instantly know when your wire payments has failed.
How to create Wire Payment alerts
Before you set up your alerts
We’ll send your alerts to the email address or mobile number in your Online Banking for Business user profile, so please make sure they’re correct. Here’s how to check:
- In Online Banking for Business, select the Administration tab.
- Under “Settings”, select My Profile.
- Under “Contact Information” scroll down to the “Email” field.
- To update your email address, contact your administrator.
- To update your mobile number, enter your new mobile number.
