How do I approve or reject a pending deposit in BMO DepositEdge?

Deposits only need to be approved if “Deposit Approval” is enabled. Otherwise, deposits are automatically finalized.

Here’s how approvers can approve or reject pending deposits:

  1. In Online Banking for Business, select the Payments & Receivables tab.
  2. Under "DepositEdge", select BMO DepositEdge.
  3. Select the Approvals tab.
  4. Select the deposit you want to review and verify the details.
  5. Select Approve Deposit or Reject Deposit.

If yours was the final approval, we’ll start processing the deposit as requested.

If you rejected the deposit, please add a reason in the “Comments” field and select OK. Then click Back to Approvals to complete the rejection. How to modify a rejected deposit
