Why can’t I scan my check in BMO DepositEdge?

If your scanner can’t read your check clearly, you’ll be prompted to rescan the check. You may also be asked to manually enter the check amount if the system is unable to recognize it on the check.

Checks that are either ineligible for scanning or repeatedly rejected need to be deposited at a BMO branch or ATM. Find a branch or ATM near you with our BMO Branch & ATM Locator.
