What should I do if my scanner stops working?

If your DepositEdge scanner isn’t working, there are a few things you can try:

  • Clean your scanner with a cleaning card or compressed air to avoid dust and MICR ink buildup.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Unplug your scanner and plug it back into a USB slot.

Note: If you unplug your scanner, you’ll have to re-register it next time you use BMO DepositEdge.
