How do I enable or disable an RSA SecurID token?

As an administrator, you can enable or disable a user’s SecurID token. Here’s how:

  1. In Online Banking for Business, select the Administration tab.
  2. Under “User Management”, choose Manage Users.
  3. Next to the relevant user, select Modify User from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the “Security Settings” section under “SecurID Settings”, select Manage SecurID.
  5. From the “Select Action” dropdown, choose Enable or Disable.
  6. Check the tokens you want to enable or disable and select Apply.
    Note: For hard tokens, please make sure that the serial number matches the one on the back of the device.
  7. Select Save Changes.

When prompted, confirm your identity with your preferred secondary authentication option. What is secondary authentication? 

Note: Disabling a SecurID hard token doesn’t mean that you’ll no longer be billed for it. If you wish to cancel the billing for a SecurID hard token, please return it to us. How to return a SecurID hard token.
