How do I set recurring EFT payments?
If you have a Fixed Frequency EFT Account ID, you can create an EFT template with a date range during which the incoming or outgoing EFT payments are automatically repeated. Here’s how:
- In Online Banking for Business, select the Payments & Receivables tab.
- Under “Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)”, select Create Template.
- Choose a Fixed Frequency EFT Account ID.
-
Choose an EFT Account ID.
-
Enter a Template Name and Template Description.
-
Under “Payment Type”, select Debit for incoming payments or Credit if you’re sending money.
Note: This will set all payments in your template as either incoming or outgoing. A mix of both is not possible within the same template.
-
Choose a Payment Code that best describes your transactions.
-
Enter your company’s short and long name.
Note: For more advanced options, select Prefill Information.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save.
- Under “Add Payers/Payees”, enter the details of a payer or payee including “Next Payment Date” and “Final Payment Date”.
- When you’re ready, select Add to List.
Note: You can add as many payers or payees as you like.
- Once you’re done, click again Save at the bottom of the page.
Note: This will also update your Total Payments and Total Amount.
Your new EFT template has been created. You can find it under “Manage EFT Templates”. Once it’s fully approved, we’ll automatically process your recurring EFT payments.
