How do I find my business number?
 
Your business number (BN) is assigned to your business by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It’s composed of a 9-digit registration number that identifies your business, followed by a 6-character account identifier. 
 
Here are examples of business numbers for different types of CRA accounts: 
  • Payroll Account (RP): 123456789 RP0001
  • GST/HST Account (RT): 123456789 RT0001
  • Corporate Income Tax Account (RC): 123456789 RC0001
