What’s the difference between Single and Full Line Payee verification in Digital Cheque Service (DCS)?
If you have Enhanced Positive Pay as a service within DCS, the Single and Full Line verification options determine what payee information you need to include in your issue file.
Enhanced Positive Pay has two verification options:
Single Line Payee verification matches the payee information in your issue file to the first line of payee information on the cheque item. If you’ve chosen this option, your issue file must include the first line of payee information.
Full Line Payee verification matches the payee information in your issue file to ALL lines of payee information on the cheque item. If you’ve chosen this option, your issue file must include all payee information.
If your issue file is missing required payee information, your item may be flagged as fraudulent and result in an exception.
