How do I reset a user’s Biometric ID?

All administrators can reset a user’s Biometric ID to clear all enrolled Biometric ID options. Here’s how:

  1. In Online Banking for Business, select the Administration tab.
  2. Under “User Management”, choose Manage Users.
  3. Next to the relevant user, select Modify User from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the “Security Settings” section under “Biometric ID”, click Reset Biometric ID.
  5. Click Save Changes.

When prompted, confirm your identity with your preferred secondary authentication option. What is secondary authentication? 

Once the change has been approved, your user is forced to re-register their Biometric ID the next time they perform an action requiring secondary authentication in Online Banking for Business. Depending on the user entitlements and settings, this may happen at Sign in or when creating/approving a payment.
