BMO Passcode helps protect your accounts by generating a secure one-time use passcode right from your computer.
What do I need?
The setup should only take about 5 minutes. Once your administrator has enabled BMO Passcode in your profile, you’ll be automatically asked to set it up the next time you sign in to Online Banking for Business. Please make sure that:
- you have a Windows computer. Instructions for Mac computers
- you can sign in to Online Banking for Business.
- you have access to your email address listed in your Online Banking for Business profile.
- you’ve received an email labelled "[PROTECT] BMO Passcode Setup: Import Password". Because this email contains sensitive information, it will contain a link to the secure BMO Message Center, where you can read it in full.
- you’re able to download and install software on your computer.
Note: Depending on your company’s security policies, you may need help from your IT department to download, install or run the software on your computer.
