How do I check the status of my EFT payments?
There are three ways you can confirm if an EFT payment was sent successfully:
Via Online Banking for Business
- In Online Banking for Business, select the Payments & Receivables tab.
- Under "Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)", choose Manage Payments.
- Next to the payments file with the payment you’re interested in, review the “Status” column.
- To check the status of individual EFT payments, select the Number of Payments link and review the corresponding “Status” column. You can also trace individual payments. How to trace an EFT payment
Via a DEFR 200 report
If you’re receiving reports electronically, you can confirm the EFT payment status about 30 minutes after the payments file was fully approved. Here’s how:
- In Online Banking for Business, select the Payments & Receivables tab.
- Under "File Transfer Facility (FTF)", choose File History.
- Select “EFT” and “Received Files” then select Search.
- Look for the DEFR 200 report for your EFT Account ID and the last approval date. It will show you the status of your EFT payment.
