Biometric ID is an advanced security feature which uses your unique physical characteristics to conveniently and securely confirm your identity.

All you need to do is scan your fingerprint, face or voice with your smartphone.


What do I need? 

The setup should only take about 5 minutes. Please make sure that: 

  • you have your Android or iOS phone on hand 
  • your phone number matches the one in your Online Banking for Business profile 
  • your phone’s mobile data or Wi-Fi is enabled  
  • you’re in an area with good reception or have a strong Wi-Fi connection.

Once your Primary Customer Administrator (PCA) or administrator enables Biometric ID in your profile, you're ready to set it up.  

Note: If you’re the only PCA at your company and need Biometric ID enabled in your profile, please contact your BMO representative for assistance.
